So. I was planning on doing an different post today. But then I did a little bit of Black Friday shopping, and I wanted to show you what I got.
I did some shopping these past 2 days. My excuse? My holiday is coming up 🙂
I used to hardly ever wear sneakers. Boots, ballet flats, heels and sandals, yes. But sneakers, no thank you.
This week’s highlight is a newish item in my closet, and boy oh boy am I glad I got it!
I have a new bag love. Like seriously so obsessed. Which is why it is my highlight for this week.
A while back I walked into a thrift shop, and walked out with 2 red tops.
A few weeks late (or over a month, but who’s counting?), but it is finally here, my Antwerp haul!
A bit later than promised, but today it’s time for another very chatty outfit post!
I meant to do this blog post last week but I was kinda lazy and kinda busy so here it is a little bit late but still relevant: my She Loves Mila haul.
Can you believe it is August already? I know I can’t.
Right, so I haven’t posted in over a week. So sorry for that!
Hey hey hey my first outfit post is up today!
OMG that rhymed. And wasn’t funny at all…
Last Thursday, the 27th of April, was Kingsday here in the Netherlands. And it is kind of a tradition for people to go out on the streets and sell stuff they don’t use or need anymore. And on nice sunny days it is so very fun to nose around, see what cute or funny things you can find for a great price. Which is exactly what my boyfriend’s mother and I did.
We have gotten to the last part of my shoe collection, my summer shoes. Now, the shoes I tend to wear most in the summer are my Converse, and probably my Adidas this year as well, but a good pair (or two) of flats and some summery sandals cannot be missed, and every girl needs at least one pair of summer heels for those fancy evenings, in my opinion that is. And you can’t forget about flipflops. You just can’t.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at my current summer shoe collection.
Time for part two of my shoe collection: the boots! I love boots, mainly black ones because they go with everything. After having a bit of clear out over the past few months I think I am really happy with my collection now, so let’s just get into it.
I love shoes. And so I have quite a lot of them. Not a ridiculous amount, but still, quite a lot. And so I thought I would share my collection with you guys over these next few weeks, starting today with my sneakers. I used to not be a sneaker girl at all, I always wore either boots or sandals, depending on the weather, but in these past few years I have been getting into them a bit more, buying some of the classic styles. Now I am absolutely in love with some of the shoes you will see in this post, and I am thinking about adding a few more to my collection.
I am also not going to pretend like I keep my shoes all nice and white and clean, because I don’t. I try to clean the white parts sometimes, but realistically I just always forget, so I also didn’t do that for the sake of this post. I am sorry in advance. But anyways, let’s get into my sneaker collection!
Now that winter has officially come to and end (although you never know with this Dutch weather) I thought I would share my winter fashion favourites with you all. This I have been particularly loving this past season. Things that have been keeping me nice and warm, whether it has been outside the house, or inside, with a cup of hot chocolate on the couch. Most items I have gotten this year (well, fall of 2016, but that still counts in my opinion), but some are a little older. I haven’t included sweaters in this post, because I already did a whole blog post about my top 5 sweaters this winter that you can check out right here.
February was a good month. Like, really good. We moved into our new apartment, as you could’ve read in my Just A Chat post a few weeks ago (I promise pictures of the almost finished result are coming soon!), and I started my first school/course like situation in over 4 years and it is actually going really well, although I still have to get used to waking up early and doing my homework. February also makes me very happy because it means it is almost spring time. Goodbye cold, ice and snow! Although with the Dutch weather you never know if it might not just come back in March to annoy us a little more…
Anyways, that was my February recap, now let’s get into my 5 Faves!
I love fashion. I love dressing up, putting thought and effort in my outfits, looking cute in my heels, over the knee boots, super skinny jeans, short dresses and tight skirts (not all together at once though). However, I also like to be comfortable, and, more often than not, lazy. But then, I still want to look somewhat cute.
So, I decided to put together a lazy girl lookbook. Outfits I like to wear on those days that I would rather stay home in my pajama’s eating nacho’s and watching Criminal Minds, but when I sadly still have to go out. Outfits that are comfy and also kind of cute so I can leave the house not feeling like a total slob but still feeling like I’m wearing pajama’s (and, spoiler alert, one of these items actually are). So let’s have a look, shall we?
Sooo…. I did a bit of shopping over the past 2 months. And I thought I’d just share it with you, because why not? It’s a little bit of fashion, a little bit of beauty, a few books and a couple of dvd’s. Some things I actually needed and some things I just wanted, some things I have already used and some I haven’t. And I am going to tell you all about it, right here, right now. Continue reading “A Collective Haul”
I know we are halfway through January already, but I still wanted to start of this 5 Faves series with December, the first month that I kept a list of my favourite items. I am going to try to do this every month, share my top 5 items of the month. It will be a mix of fashion items, beauty products, books, lifestyle things and maybe even experiences, if something really fun happened.
Anyways, let’s get into my 5 favourite things of December 2016.
Here are a few of the outfits I wore over the past month. I don’t have a picture from every day, because a) that would be A LOT of pictures and b) I don’t have my photographer/boyfriend with me every day to take the picture. If I did I would probably force him to take an outfit pic for me every single day, but I don’t so I can’t…
