Reading Wrap Up – May 2019

Oh my god, you guys. I cannot believe we’re at the end of May already, time is flying by.

The end of a month only means one thing, it is time for my reading wrap up! Despite it being pretty cold and grey for most of the month, I’ve been really in the mood for summer books. Maybe it’s because it has been cold and grey even though it is supposed to be late spring.. Anyways, I started the month with a summer book, and then realized I don’t have a lot of summer books left. One, to be exact, and I want to save that one for June. For this reason exact I have only read one book this month. Well, that and the fact that I’ve been really busy with work, school, home life and planning my June blog posts, because I need to shoot, edit and write a ton! Why? Because we are going on holiday at the end of the month, so I need to plan ahead.

Anyways, let’s see what I thought about the one book I read in May. Which I realise now, as I am reviewing this post 2 seconds before I want to put it online, that I’ve forgotten to add the photo.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Save The Date – Morgan Matson

It’s been a while since I read a good, fun, easy contemporary YA book, and this one was a good way to dive back into it. Was it amazingly outstanding and literally? Of course not, but it was good fun, made me smile a good few times. The characters, especially the main character, did annoy me a bit here and there though, I felt like she was acting a bit selfish sometimes. But it was still a fun reading experience, and it has reminded me to pick up the only other Morgan Matson book I haven’t read yet. I gave this one 3 stars.

Now, it is not that I only read one book and left it at that, I did start two others that I’m enjoying, but I just cannot find the time to read right now.

Here’s to hoping June is a better reading month for me.

Thanks for stopping by ❤
