Weekly Highlights #10

It seems like both my blog posts this week are late. Oh well, at least I’m putting something up right😅

Anyways, this week’s highlight, as all the other weeks, is a good one, and one I will probably be using all autumn long. Probably even longer. Probably until I can’t use it anymore.
It is a lip combination, and as a lipstick junky it always makes me very happy when I find the perfect new lip product or combo. When it’s a product I need it in every shade available, as is the case with one of the products in this perfect combo, so it’s a good thing that both these products are very affordable, both under €10,-!
You’re probably wondering what I am talking about now. Here it is….

Aaaah!! Aren’t they beautiful? I found my perfect dark nude lip combination! This is the Hema longlasting lip liner in 01 Nude, and the Rimmel The Only One lipstick in 700 Naughty Nude, and they look beautiful together, like they were made for each other (and me!). I will say, the Hema liner is not a light nude, it is actually a darker brownish nude, but I love it for the upcoming months. The lipstick is a brownish pinkish nude, a little lighter than the liner but not annoyingly so, it actually brightens up the liner perfectly. Funny thing is, I have the liner in 3 other shades (Burgundy, Red and Pink) and I have 2 other Rimmel lipsticks, and Red and Burgundy match perfectly with the lipsticks (a dark purple-ish red from the same line as this one and a true red from the matte version of this line). It is wonderful. The lip liner is only €2,50 and such great quality. It glides on, has great pigment, doesn’t feel drying or anything, last ridiculously long on the lips and best of all it is a twist-up pencil, no sharpening needed! The lipstick is a moisturizing not really matte but now glossy either (creamy?) formula and doesn’t last amazingly on it’s own but with the liner underneath.. Amazing. I have nothing bad to say about either product, which is why they are this week’s highlight.
The only thing I just found out – which breaks my heart – is that it seems that the lipsticks are discontinued in the Netherlands😭 but hopefully it’s just a Dutch thing and not a worldwide thing..

Thanks for stopping by ❤
