Oops, I did it again..
So I popped into Hema on Thursday because I thought I needed a bronzer brush. As I was looking at the brushes though, I remembered that I already had found a solution for the bronzer problem last week.
I could have left the store right then, but here’s the thing. I have this thing that when I for some reason find myself in the makeup section of a store, I have to swatch. And once I start swatching…. Oh god.
The first thing that caught my eye was something I have been looking for for months now. So it is kind of justified. If you have seen my current makeup favourites post from last week you’ll know how much I love my Hema Matt Lip Cream in pink. Now, ever since I got the pink one I have been wanting the one in nude as well. But it seemed like it was sold out in every store I went to. So I gave up.
But of course, as soon as you give up looking for something you find it. So I got it. And I love it. It is such a beautiful colour, and I already know I love the formula and everything. So very happy with this purchase.
Also, very budget friendly 😉
The other makeup thing I picked up is this foundation. I have been looking for a lightweight, light coverage foundation for so long now. It just seems like all the drugstore foundations here in the Netherlands are too pink/peachy for my yellow (or olive, I never know the right term) undertone. Thanks, Asian roots..
However, when I was swatching the foundations in the Hema I noticed that this one actually matched my skintone pretty perfectly, so for €6,- I decided to give it a go. Of course, as soon as I got home I tried it, and it does really seem to be the right colour for me. So far I am quite pleased with it, however I do need to play around with tools to apply it with. I’ll let you know how I get on with it!
The last thing I picked up is this sea salt spray, for only €2,50. I love the whole messy hair look and it seems like everyone really likes to use sea salt spray to achieve that effortless beach-y look. So now I’m gonna try it too! So far I love the smell of it and I like the colour of the packaging, but again, I’ll have to play around with this product a bit more before I know if I actually like it.
I’ll let you know how I get on with these new bits.
Thanks for stopping by!
